On Tuesday night, four Burbank men were injured after a night of drinking when their car rear-ended a semi loaded with lumber in Gary, Ind. at more than 90 mph. According to the responding Indiana State Police trooper, alcohol was involved.
The strength of the impact caused part of their vehicle to lodge under the semi’s trailer. Three of the men had to be extricated out of the car.
The crash shut down traffic for hours on the Borman Expressway.
