Comments Off

An Oklahoma motorcyclist was injured when was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle. The hit-and-run vehicle blew a stop sign, hit the motorcyclist, and then left the scene.

The motoryclist was hospitalized with serious injuries to his leg.

In Illinois, hit-and-run motorists are considered uninsured motorists for the purposes of making a claim under the uninsured motorist provisions of your automobile liability insurance policy.

Uninsured motorist coverage is fairly cheap, and is one of the coverage you get when you purchase a “full coverage” policy. Anyone looking to buy or renew their car insurance shoudl make sure to ask about uninsured motorist coverage because it is the only way to protect yourself against irresponsible hit-and-run drivers such as the one involved in this accident.
